Regarding the
actual measured length
of the bag: If you were to measure the bag's length with a tape measure when it first arrives at your door, you may find it measures approximately between 70.5" and 71.5". This is due to the wrinkles in the material that arise from folding, packaging and shipping. When the material is measured and cut at the factory, it is cut off the huge master vinyl roll, before any handling, folding or packaging occurs to cause any wrinkles. Everything is done by sophisticated machinery, so there is no chance of human errors in measurement. After the bag is used normally and the wrinkles have a chance to "iron" themselves out, the bag will measure a full 72". If you need that extra inch or so right away, just hang the bag on a hanger and put a pound or two of weight in the bottom, zip it up and let it hang for a few hours at a normal room temperature or outside if you live in a warm climate area.
DO NOT
attempt to actually "iron out" the material with a heated clothes iron!!! This will not only ruin the material but possibly your iron as well. The bag is obviously not returnable if you do this.
