Vintage Japanese Futon Comforter Textile - Silk - Stunning and Rare!

So I got this at the estate of a 100 year old Japanese man who had passed a year ago.  His sister lived with him in his later years and she passed before him.  This was in the sisters old room.  It is amazing that is so well preserved but it was literally tack sewed into a sheet for protection and then placed in a box that was tied. This piece is absolutely STUNNING.  It is made of all silk with the green design you see dyed onto the white silk.  It is about and inch or 1 1/2" thick and it measures 56" x 70 1/2".  You can see in the pictures how it was sewn around the edges...totally different then how you see here in the US. The only flaw is a small tan spot (dime size and not dark).  If you look at the last picture you can see it.  I did not even attempt to clean it.  The comforter itself smells fine. Seriously this piece is gorgeous and I have never seen anything like it.

*I pack items very well and everything has a tracking number.  Once I mail an item I can't be held responsible for what happens to the package. If it gets lost, damaged or stolen then I will do all I can to get the claim filed, etc....however I can't control what happens after I mail it.  With this said I will work with the buyer to help in any way I can.
