wonderfully old, antique sewing card from 1923 / terrific advertising for Thresher Brothers, a specialty silk store that once existed in Boston / amazing graphics & colors / card contains two of the original four needles / this is a fabulous vintage sewing notion collectible / great decor piece for a sewing room!
cardboard card measures 5" x 3 1/4" / it folds open with needles on the inside, tucked into a piece of fabric / advertising & graphics are on every inch of this card / exterior of card is in very good condition with no fading & only minor wear & some bends / the inside of the card is missing a piece of fabric that held the other two needles & there are remnants over the spot where it was glued on /the two existing needles have rusted and contributed to the patina on the inside / the bends from the outside are more noticeable on the inside / interior is still completely legible & in fair to good condition / overall this piece is in good to very good antique condition, considering its age / the highlight are the colors & graphics on the front & back, which is the part one would display anyway / price is reflective of its age & graphics / it is very charming on display!
